Questions about the cleanup
How do I know if my site is actually hacked?
Common signs include a Google warning, strange redirects, unfamiliar admin users, defaced pages, a sudden ranking drop, or your host suspending the account. If you’re unsure, send us the URL and we’ll check.
How fast can you start?
We prioritize active hacks over other work and aim to begin assessment as soon as we have access, typically the same day you reach out.
Will you get the blacklist warning removed?
We request removal from Google Safe Browsing and other blacklists once the site is clean. The final approval and timing are up to those services, not us, but we handle the submission.
Can you guarantee it won’t happen again?
No one can guarantee that — security is ongoing, not a one-time fix. We harden the site against the vulnerabilities we find and recommend monitoring, which significantly reduces the risk.
Do you need my hosting access?
Yes, we need WordPress admin access and typically hosting/FTP access to fully scan and clean the site, since malware often hides outside the WordPress admin area.
